Firstly, I would like to apologize for not updating the blog for the past few days. I had a family emergency I needed to take care of. So, please forgive me if I was away from my computer for the past five days.

 

Here are the things that I want to do for the rest of August and into September:

 

1.

 

There are two blogs that I regularly read, and I want to begin to comment on them at least twice a week. These blogs are well worthwhile in reading, and commenting. I just need to make in my priority. This will do two things; first, it will stimulate discussion on passive income and blogging. Secondly, I hope it will bring more traffic to my site, as well as entice you to read their sites. These two blogs are pro-blogger and smart passive income.

It is obvious said I must hone my website. At times my blog looks clumsy. So I will spend some time streamlining things. I have gotten some great suggestions by e-mail on how to do this. I do not agree with all of the suggestions, but there were several that I plan to implement. I also want to thank those of you that sent   in suggestions. There is nothing I want more than good critiquing.

The next thing, of course, is the eHow challenge. Maybe, this should have been number one on my list. I want to thank those of you that have registered for the eHow challenge contest. The competition that you are giving me will certainly spur me on to write eHow articles like I have never written before. The next thing on my list is Cash Crate . The CashCrate project is still hopeful but a little strange. Let me explain. I continue to get new referrals, but they are not active referrals. An active referral is someone who actually uses the website to make money. I have as many people that signed up, but never tried to make money. I am not sure I understand this mindset. If you are using my CashCrate referral, please, go ahead and make some money for yourself. Refer your friends. I think this can work, but we need to help each other. The next thing I need to do is try to increase my search engine ranking. In several past posts, I have a looked at this situation; however, I am still not entirely sure what strategy to take. If you have any suggestions, I would be more than happy to implement them. Beyond that, I should use some type of sticky post to help with my SEO. Again, this is an area where I could certainly use your help.

As you know, I’ve been searching for good affiliate links also. I posted my first one just last week. That is the Blue Host link. Beyond that, however, I would like to put up more affiliate links. This gives me two ideas, firstly, of course, to develop affiliates that are completely related to this blog subject. Therefore, one of my goals is by the end of next month to enter into an arrangement with another affiliate that has a product, or service that is related to this blog.

 

Then I had another thought, there are several products that are not related to this blog, but I use them, and would recommend them to anyone. So, perhaps I should put up a link page that will direct you to these products, services, and blogs that I truly believe in, even if they are not related to passive income.
