I have been reading some of my friend’s blogs, and I have noticed a number of eHow article writing challenges. These challenges range anywhere from writing 100 to 150 articles per month. I think I would like to raise the stakes.

  The truth be told, I need motivation to write these articles also. I thought I might spice things up a bit. Instead of the one-month challenge, I will propose a sustained challenge. 100 articles per month, for three months. 

One difference between the challenges that have been offered, and my challenge, is that I am offering a couple of small prizes. 

Here are the rules.  You must write 100 articles during each month beginning in September 2009. You cannot write 300 articles during the last month, you must write a minimum of 100 articles during each of the months September, October and November. If an article is thrown out by eHow, it does not count. Each article must contain at least four steps, and one image. Each article must be of at least 300 words including introduction. Articles will be checked for plagiarism, and any plagiarized articles will be disqualified. You may also need to provide me with your eHow login password, so that I can verify the  dates and times the articles were written. I will try to avoid this, but it may be necessary. 

Now that you know how to qualify for the contest, what might you win? Of course, let’s start with the basics. You will have increased your eHow income substantially. However, beyond that, the person that writes the most articles will have a link to their eHow profile on this blog. This link will be on the front page, will remain there for a minimum of one year. (Let me reiterate, the person that writes the most articles, and has at least 100 articles written per month, will qualify)

 The next prize will be for $50. If you write 100 or more articles per month during the period of the contest, and if you write more articles of than I do, I will pay you $50. To receive this payment, you must have a PayPal account.

 In a nutshell, as long as you write 100 or more articles per month during September, October, November, you qualify for the contest. If you write the most articles of anybody in the contest, you get a front page a link on this blog. In addition, if you beat me and write more articles than I do, you also win $50.

I designed in this contest to motivate myself to write more eHow articles, I don’t want to lose $50. So you had better get to writing!
